Event Companion App – Privacy Policy

Event Companion App ("the App") is published by Memlin AI, LLC and operated on behalf of event organizers, currently Jen Carpenter Productions ("the Organizer"). The App is an invitation-only guest companion for private events. This policy explains what information the App collects and how it is used.

Information we collect

• Contact information – name, email address, and phone number, provided by the Organizer from the event guest list so you can sign in.
• Event details you provide – travel and flight information, dietary preferences and restrictions, accessibility needs, activity selections, and responses to registration items.
• Photos – a profile picture and photos you choose to share to the event gallery. Camera and photo library access is requested only when you use these features.
• Feedback and help requests – messages you send through the App's help and feedback features.
• Device data – basic technical information needed to deliver in-app notifications and keep the App working, such as an anonymous device identifier. The App does not use advertising identifiers.

How we use it

Information is used solely to run the event: to authenticate you, display your personalized agenda and itinerary, coordinate transportation and dining, share event photos with other attendees, and respond to your requests. We do not sell personal information, use it for advertising, or track you across other apps or websites.

Who can see it

Your name, profile photo, and any details you opt to make visible may be shown to other attendees of the same event in the attendee directory. Photos you share to the gallery are visible to attendees after moderation by the Organizer. Event staff can view attendee information in order to run the event. Data is stored with Amazon Web Services in the United States and encrypted in transit and at rest.

Retention and deletion

Attendee data is retained for the duration of the event and a limited period afterward for post-event follow-up, then deleted or archived by the Organizer. You may request deletion of your information at any time by contacting us at the address below.

Children

The App is intended for adult event guests and is not directed to children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy; the current version will always be available at this address.
